COVID-19 PRECAUTIONS FOR YOUR VISIT

We can’t wait to welcome you to the St. Martin’s Theatre, and we want to make sure you, our staff and the rest of the audience feel as safe as possible. For the comfort and reassurance of all our guests our staff at the St. Martin’s Theatre will continue to wear a face covering at all times. We request that you also wear a face covering throughout your visit to the theatre, as suggested on the government website, unless you are eating or drinking, or if you are exempt.

There are no other requirements of entry.

Your ticket will be contactless and will arrive to your phone via text 5 hours before the start of the show.

This will allow you to enter the theatre more easily, minimize the amount of time you may have to queue, and reduce contact with the front of house team. If you do not have a mobile or if there is any other issue with your e-ticket please contact a member of the front of house team who will assist.

Ventilation

We have reconfigured the way we use the ventilation system so that it uses 100% fresh Air. No air is recycled.

Cleaning

We will be cleaning and disinfecting the theatre before every performance and between performances.

Changes you will notice in and around the theatre when you visit:

Contactless bag searches will be in operation.

Drinks, programmes and merchandise can be ordered from your phone, and can be collected from the bar on your level. See the tab at the top of your e-ticket for more information.

Please arrive at the time stated on your e-ticket to keep queuing to a minimum. When leaving the auditorium please follow the ushers’ instructions.

Hand sanitizers will be placed throughout the theatre – please use them on entering the theatre, and throughout your visit.

Stage Door

Following the performance, Stage Door activities such as photographs with the performers or autograph signing may be restricted.

And finally, if you are feeling unwell we ask that you stay at home.

You can contact the Box Office to rearrange your booking exchange free of charge, no quibbles, up to 24 hours before your booked performance – email [email protected].

If you feel unwell whilst on site, please contact a member of staff who will provide assistance.

Other things that are taking place at the theatre:

We have also made some changes backstage and front of house. The teams will also be working in bubbles and adhering to social distancing guidelines and we have employed extra understudies to cover all eventualities.
